Bye Bye Thailand

Hello! I haven't blogged in almost a week now. How the days passes by! Well, I'll just continue from were I stopped last time. We went to Railay Beach and it was kind of shabby there too, but we took the time to walk to the other side of the bay and to Phranang Cave Beach and it was almost magical. Really clear water and beautiful. Only down parts were the big crowds of tourists, the hard sand and some kind of stingy bugs in the water. Well later the same day we went out for dinner and ended up having a night out at Chang Bar. We met some people there and just hanged and got a wee bit drunk. We noticed it wasn't a good idea the next day because we were having a about 2-3 hour boat trip ahead of us to Koh Lanta. The boat ride was horrible, mostly since they packed on too many people. We arrived at Koh Lanta and my first thought was: where's the beautiful place I've heard and read about? We got to our bungalow hotel and it was at a cosy and a very calm place. We even had a pool! But the beach wasn't so nice so the next day we went to Long Beach instead, but it wasn't that much better. We couldn't agree more on that luckily we were heading back to Phuket and Patong Beach the next day.

So we came back to Phuket on Wednesday and we're staying at the other end of Patong Beach this time so we went out exploring it a bit. We even found Bangla Road that we failed to come to last time. Later in the evening we went to Den Glade Viking where Rinas friend works. So we'd bought a free bar ticket for a couple of hours and boy we drank lots in those hours. About five in the morning I got back to the hotel and the next day I suffered from a hangover. So we were lying in yesterday, really a pity since it's was some of the last days here. But no can do, luckily we have a movie channel! Today I went to the beach by myself, since I feel better and I've lied there and taken in the last of the sun I can get before we're heading to the airport this night. Before that I need to get a foot scrub and do some shopping! Not so smart to leave that for the last day, but I wouldn't have wanted to carry everything around for a couple of weeks.

I'll be back in Finland on Sunday morning, since our flight to Sweden takes about 14 hours (via The Arab Emirates) and then we take the ferry boat over to Turku. So see ya then with pictures and stuff! Bye!
