Last year is in my memories and I'm already thinking about the future

People have already made and published their lists of the past year and I'm just a tiny bit late, but well here it is. I find it interesting to see year by year what I've achieved and it's fun to remember all the fun things that have happened. So this is my 2011 years list. It's the same one as last year.

1. Did you do anything this year that you've never done before?
Well, I started studying at a university, I got my first own apartment, saw Enrique Iglesias live and went on a two-week holiday with a friend and spent New Year's abroad for the first time.

2.Did you keep any of your New Years vows?

I don't think I had any, or if I had, I've forgotten them.

3. Did anybody you know get children?

Yes.

4. Did anybody you were close with die?

Yes. Not that close, but he was kind of family. R.I.P. M.

5.Which countries did you visit?

Irland (April), France (June), Sweden (August) and Thailand (December-January). And I thought I didn't travel last year at all!

6. Is there anything you missed 2011, that you want to bring to 2012?

More love, fun with friends and doing new exciting things.

7. What date will you always remember?

I really can't remember that many, but 30/04/2011, 11/06/2011, 10/09, 22/10, 09/12, 25/12 and 31/12 will be unforgettable.

8. What was the best thing that happened in 2011?

That I started studying and I met lots of wonderful people through friends, work and school.

9. What was your biggest mistake?
No idea. Maybe letting my feelings take over sometimes instead of thinking smart.

10. What was your best purchase?

My vacuum cleaner, a tattoo and all money spent on trips.

11. What did you spend most money on?

Vacations and phone bills.

12. What made you really happy?

ALL my friends, summer, trips to places I haven't seen before, my trip to Paris to see my friends from my time in France, flings and just being able to love myself and being comfortable in myself.

13. Have you been ill or hurt yourself?
Not that much actually. Once during the summer I got burned by a cigarette, that hurt. And I cut myself at work, just a small cut though. The thing that probably hurt the most was when I hit one of my toes on a 15 kg heavy box and it went all blue. Autch!

14. What songs or artists will get you reminded of 2011?

Good feeling/Levels by Avicii, lots of LMFAOs songs, Veronica Maggios 'Satan i gatan' album and We found love by Rihanna and Calvin Harris.

15. Did you feel better or worse in 2011 than years before ?

Good, better, best. More confident than before at least.

16. Is there anything you wished you'd have put more time on?

Myself and studying even more French.

17. Is there anything you wished you'd have put less time on?
Thinking "what if's" and about guys that weren't interested anyway.

18. How was your Christmas?
Awesome! With all my family at mums, including the dogs ♥

19. Did you fall in love?
Nope, I don't think so. I did have a crush or two (or three), but nothing serious.

20. What TV-program have been the best?
Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives, How I met your mother, Pretty Little Liars, True Blood, Friends with Benefits, Pan Am....

21. Do you hate anybody now that you didn't hate before?
Nope.

22. What was the best book you read?
Baby be Mine by Paige Toon and The Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie.

23. What was your biggest musical discovery?
Kings of Leon all over again, Avicii (again), Rebecca & Fiona, Tove Styrke, DEV, Skrillex, dubstep overall, The Saturdays, Adele and Deadmau5!

24. Did you wish for something and got it?
I wished I was going abroad over New Year's and that happened. Thailand, beach, friends and drinks. Can you ask for more?

25. Did you wish for something that you didn't get?
I wished for a relationship once in a while, but then again it's something that happens when it happens, no hurry.

26. What was the best movie?
In Time, Chloe, Waiting for Forever and One Day.

27. What did you do on your birthday?

On my actual birthday I had some friends over and then we went out and then I celebrated my birthday the second time the next weekend with my childhood friends and that was awesome.

28. Who were the best people you met?

Oh, many many. Rina is the first one popping in my head by name, my classmates and then lots of people I've learned to know this fall.

29. How would you describe your style during the year?

High-waisted skirts, dresses, tops, jumpsuits, feminine accessories, lipstick, high-heels and colors. Classy mixed with comfy, rocky and sailor.

30. What made you feel good?

Friends and parties.

31. What celebrity were you most into?
Ryan Gosling.

32. Who did you miss? 
My family mostly and my grandma. And all my friends in Hanko and abroad.

33. What was your best month? 
All fall actually. Just been so much fun! Probably sometime around October-December and April-June was pretty good too.

34. Is there anything you could have done better?
I can actually say the same thing as last year 'Not missing something that wasn't there' and maybe let my brain rule sometimes and stop letting my emotions take over.

35. How is this year going to differ from the last one?
Another happy year! I will try to be smarter and have even more fun! And I will do lots of new things this year :)
